2023 Election: Upload results to avoid compromise, Atiku asks INEC

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has told the National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu to instruct collation officers to upload the results from their location to the commissions server.

The former vice president says it has become necessary to checkmate some governors who are trying to compromise the results at the local government level.

He said, ” It will be undemocratic and a disservice to Nigerians for anyone to subvert the will of the people as freely expressed.

The former vice president urged Nigerians to be calm and vigilant to ensure their mandate is not stolen.
