Makinde Attends DG’s Daughter’s Wedding, Mortifies Wailers

Governor Seyi Makinde today attended the wedding Faatiha of his deputy’s daughter, putting wailers to shame.

There have been insinuations from some quarters that Mr governor would not attend wedding ceremony of the daughter of his deputy, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan.

News had filtered social media last night that Makinde had deliberately fixed another state’s function for today just to technically avoid attending the wedding of Olaniyan’s daughter.

Makinde arrived the venue of the wedding at Eleyele alongside his wife and other top government functionaries.

Present at the event also were Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Rasheed Ladoja, former first lady of Oyo State, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, among many others.
