BREAKING: Gov. Makinde begs staff of College of Education, Lanlate to call off strike, releases N100m for the institution’s development

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has ordered the release of 100 Million Naira to settle some of the challenges facing College of Education Lanlate.

Makinde Stated this on Friday during the working visit to the Institution.

According to the Governor, 50 Million Naira will be released immediately while the remaining 50 Million Naira will be granted in the middle of the year.
Governor Seyi Makinde also appealed to the Staff of the Institution to call off its strike as issues raised will be adequately addressed.

The working visit of Governor Seyi Makinde is to ascertain level of development at the Oyo state college of Education Lanlate in Ibarapa East Local Government.
Receiving The Governor and his entourage, the Chairman Governing Council of the College, Captain Bisi Ojebola retired solicited the support of the state government in moving the college forward.

Others who spoke at the occasion included Representative of teaching and non teaching staff and Students union President of the Institution Comrade Alao Quadri urged Governor Seyi Makinde to take urgent step towards finding lasting solution to Problems confronting the Institution.
