Gaza Now News Channel has issued a powerful official statement urging the global community to fulfill its moral and humanitarian duty by pressuring for unrestricted international media access into the Gaza Strip.
In their statement, the channel accused the Israeli occupation of deliberately blocking free media entry to conceal what they describe as “brutal crimes” and inhumane practices. Gaza Now News Channel contends that allowing international journalists into Gaza would expose these actions to the world, threatening the very existence of what they call the Israeli entity.
“The prevention of international press entry is an explicit admission of the occupation’s fear of the truth,” the statement reads. “The honest image and the free word are stronger than its weapon and its army.”
Gaza Now News Channel called on media organizations, human rights groups, and humanitarian bodies worldwide to act immediately to end what they term a “media siege” on Gaza. They demand open access for journalists to bear witness to the situation on the ground and to reveal the truth to the world.
This appeal comes amid ongoing conflict and restrictions on access to the Gaza Strip, where the flow of information has been tightly controlled by Israeli authorities.
