One of the leading Islamic groups in Nigeria, Pure Heart Islamic Foundation of Nigeria, PHF, held her 4th national summit.
The summit which was held at the First Tenderfoot School, Aga, Ikorodu between Friday 7th and Sunday 9th October, 2022 with the theme, The Ideal, ushered in new crops of members to hold the national office.
The 3-Day Summit had participants drawn from Lagos, Ogun and Oyo States.
The national coordinator, Mallam Dhikrullah AbdulGaniy hinted that the body desired “those who have the Foundation at heart, demonstrate great passion for actualisation of its ideals, create time for realization of its goals at the right time, with right resources”.
In his lecture centred around the theme, The Ideal, Associate Professor from University of Ibadan, Dr Ajagbe W. O. harped on the need to resonate and radiate the basic pristine ideologies of Islam which the foundation is out to achieve via the Muslim youths in Nigeria.
“An ideal person put the needs of others first and strives to bring joy to the people around him every single day. An ideal person is hard to come by and sometimes we overlook him as the naïve guy next door. However, if the world was full of ideal persons, then it would be a better place”, Ajagbe maintained.
High point of the event included the resolutions and recommendations as contained in the communiqué, and the compendium developed as a working tool for the organisation to guide members home and abroad on the foundation’s modus operandi, modelled on pristine Islam for the youths.
