Rains of opprobrium have continued to trail the governor of Ogun state’s appointment of Laycon as youth ambassador in the state.
The social media space is becoming more interesting in terms of divergent views and opinions of Nigerians following Laycon’s new given advantage, which was met with heavy rain of commendation, eulogium and praises, on the one hand, and reprimand, condemnation and disapproval on the other hand.
Those that doff their hat to governor’s act, premised their arguments on the point that Laycon changed the narrative of BBN as an immoral show, showed astute academic, social and emotional intelligence in the house, hence, deserves governor’s good gesture.
To those who perceive the act as unnecessary, wastage and misplacement of priority, they argued that Ogun state graduates are on the streets under the sun, under the rain working hard, jumping from one sector to another looking for jobs, adding that some of them are so frustrated and depressed because they seem not find hope yet.
Take a look at some of their comments on Twitter and Facebook:
@itsLaycon is loved not by man but God. Now, we have loads of other individuals who couldn’t proceed in life because the government of the state is lacking in one or two areas. Show Laycon all the love but don’t ignore your primary responsibilities as the governor of the state.
I dont think that was necessary sir, but its unfortunate it’s done already……

There are many unemployed graduates roaming the streets, many of them are now self employed, some are now into Business, others are Okada and Keke Riders and most of them are First Class Materials and Upper Divisions.
Laycon is already rich and Popular, he won 80Million Naira plus other Endorsements coming his way.
Why would the government of Ogun offer Laycon another 5Million, Three Bedroom Flat and other Government Privileges? What does he need it for?
Laycon has been indoors for 90 days, eaten free foods, playing games sleeping all through, he has been on a good environment with AC for Three Months and now he is the Winner of the game with Millions in his Account.
