Prof. Araromi becomes Deputy Vice Chancellor as LAUTECH announces new DVCs, News Live Nigeria reports.
Two Professors of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria, have been announced as Deputy Vice-Chancellors for the leading Institution.
They are Professor Dauda Olurotimi Araromi (Academics and Innovations) and immediate past Chairman of the Committee of Provosts and Deans of the Institution, Professor Adepoju Tunde Joseph Ogunkunle (Strategy and Development).
The duo were announced after a Senate meeting held earlier today at the A. M. Salau Senate Building of the University Main Campus in Ogbomoso.
It is the first time LAUTECH will be having more than one Deputy Vice-Chancellor at a time.
Close watchers of events at the University are of the opinion that the gale of new appointments in LAUTECH are meant to strengthen the Vice-Chancellor’s resolve to bring about new and determined development at the leading University.
