Tinubu: Security chiefs on high alert as nationwide stabilisation begins, News Live Nigeria reports.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has placed Nigeria’s top security leadership on high alert as he presides over an extended emergency security meeting at the State House.

The president is meeting with the Service Chiefs, Inspector-General of Police, Director-General of the DSS, and heads of key intelligence agencies to address emerging national security threats.

According to President Tinubu, the session is focused on reviewing latest intelligence updates and taking decisive nationwide stabilisation measures aimed at protecting citizens and restoring calm in affected regions.

The President confirmed he is receiving continuous security briefings while directing all agencies to operate with speed, precision, and absolute resolve.

“We are reviewing the latest reports and taking decisive actions to stabilise the affected areas and protect our citizens. I am receiving continuous briefings and have directed our security services to move with speed, precision, and absolute resolve.”

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to public safety, President Tinubu warned that individuals or groups undermining Nigeria’s peace will face the full weight of the law.

“As President, I am fully committed to the security of all Nigerians. Those who threaten the peace and security of our nation will face the full weight of the law.”

Tinubu ended on a firm note, assuring Nigerians that the country will overcome its current security challenges.

The high-level meeting underscores a renewed national security push, with emphasis on intelligence coordination, rapid-response operations, and nationwide counter-threat strategies aimed at strengthening stability and public confidence.
