Gov. Makinde approves Prof. Kalilu as LAUTECH Vice Chancellor

Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the appointment of Professor Razaq Olatunde Kalilu as substantive Vice Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho.

This was contained in a statement signed by the State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Salihu Adelabu.

The statement added that Professor Kalilu is to serve as substantive Vice Chancellor for a single term of five years with effect from 12th June, 2024.

He joined the services of LAUTECH on September 1, 1992 and was pronounced a Professor of Arts and Arts History in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Faculty of Environmental Sciences in 1999.
He was made the acting Vice-Chancellor of LAUTECH on June 12, 2023.

Professor Kalilu is an alumnus of the University of Ife and the University of Ibadan.
