The Palace of the Oluwo of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, hereby disclaims the publication purportedly credited to his throne that the political and religious elders who visited his palace last Wednesday were his enemies who came to beg.
The publication neither originated from the place nor the throne, his press office or emissaries has knowledge of it but the handiwork of mischief makers who are hellbent in running down the revered image of Oluwo’s palace.
News Live Nigeria reports Alli Ibraheem, the Chief Press Secretary to Oluwo as saying, ” We hereby completely, dissociate the palace from such publication and equally challenge anyone linking the publication to the palace or any of her cronies to give evidence.
” It was neither written nor published by my press secretary or his office. The mischievous individuals behind such wanted to disrupt the established peaceful and cordial relationship between Oluwo and Iwo elders, and soon, they will be disgraced”.
” We enjoin peace-loving individuals to brace up, embrace the path of honour geared towards peace and disregard manufactured stories aimed at dividing the unison in the land”.
” The 3 official pages of Oluwo are; The palace of Emperor Telu of Greater Iwo Empire, Emperor Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi TELU I and Telu Initiatives.
” The public should disregard any statement credited to the palace but not emanating from one or all of the pages aforementioned”.
