Power outage has become a ‘new normal’ in some parts of Nigeria, especially, the South Western states as virtually every household continues to feel the choke without a time at sight for the probable end to the unfortunate epileptic supply.
Recently, the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, IBEDC, on its social media platform apologised to their customers in Oyo, Ogun, Kwara and Osun regions for failure to deliver power, citing TCN’s drop in power allocation as reason.
The notice registered the IBEDC’s apology for the inconvenience being experienced by its customers across the states, while assuring them of improvement as soon as power allocation increases.
However, the small-scale operators that could afford to back up their operations have to spend a significant proportion of their investment outlay.
