Hajj 2021: Preparations complete to welcome Pilgrims

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has completed preparations for the arrival and departure of Hajj pilgrims to Makkah.

 

According to the Saudi Broadcasting Corporation, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has set up four centers in Makkah to welcome pilgrims this year. Before going to Masjid-ul-Haram, the pilgrims will be welcomed in Al-Nawari, Al-Zaydi, Al-Sharia and Al-Huda and special security measures will be taken.

 

According to the SPA, Deputy Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Abdul Fattah Mushat said that the ministry has laid down three modes of reception for the pilgrims at the reception centers. Their licenses will be checked. Smart card rites will be read and then they will be taken by bus to Masjid-ul-Haram where they will perform Tawaf while the buses will take their luggage to the tent. They will be welcomed at the center and then they will be taken to Masjid-ul-Haram by scheduled buses.

 

The third procedure is for the pilgrims coming in private vehicles. Their goods will be handed over to the company. They will be taken by scheduled buses to Masjid-ul-Haram where they will perform Tawaf. The company will deliver their goods to the tent.

 

Dr. Mushat said that those who perform Hajj from Makkah will not perform Tawaf, they will reach the reception centers on time from where they will be delivered with their luggage. The reception of pilgrims at the reception centers will begin on the 7th and 8th of Dhul-Hijjah.

 

In this regard, all the pilgrims will be informed about the scheme program of caravans, a health officer will be appointed for a group of 20 pilgrims.
