The Jigawa state Governor Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has urged civil servants to be more innovative and creative while discharging their duties.
The Governor made the call while having an interactive session with Directors and permanent secretaries of Ministries, Departments and Agencies at the Ahmadu Bello Hall, state Secretariat, in Dutse.
According to the Governor, the role of civil servants in every government cannot be over emphasized hence the need for them to be more productive in order to move the state forward in an even development.
He also notes that the nation is at a trying time when its economy has suffered from not only dwindling oil prices, but also was hit by the global pandemic which did not spare bigger economies as well.
However, the Governor noted that despite all the challenges with the help of an innovative civil servants the state would harness its potential create a sustainable growth.
Also present at the interactive session were the Emirs of Hadejia, Dutse, Ringim, Gumel, and Kazaure.
