A new set of leadership who will paddle the affairs of a leading Islamic foundation in Nigeria, Pure Heart Islamic Foundation of Nigeria, PHF, Oyo state chapter, has emerged.
The process which ushered in a new executive members of PHF at the transition conference held at AsSabaq College, Bodija, Ibadan on Sunday, commenced with nomination of prospective executive, and was finalised by the Shura Committee, headed by Dr Ismail of the department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ibadan.
This year’s edition of transition conference is dubbed Pure Heart Annual Accountability Conference, PAAC . It is the 5th edition.
Immediately after the outgoing General Secretary, Mallam AbdurRahman Shittu presented the account of the stewardship of PHF for the last two years in the state under the leadership of Mallam Dhikrullah AbdulGaniy, the executive was dissolved to pave the way for another set of leadership to take responsibility.
Meanwhile, the present HOD, Computer Engineering department, The Polytechnic Ibadan, Engineer Daud OLADOSU, has in his lecture, called on the new incoming executive members to see the task as a means to win Allah’s felicity, and consequently, all efforts to take the foundation to an enviable height should be embarked upon.
His lecture centred around the theme, Leadership Between Achievable Goals and Sustainable Performance harped on the need to operationalise Corporate Governance in its entirety. In his statement, “an organization thrives when goals are set for its bottom line and are aligned with its workers”.
Engineer OLADOSU said, “the concept of Mu’limah which allows a leader to take unilateral decision as demanded by circumstances, and Mulsimah which places premium on collectivism of decision should be understood, and applied where, and when necessary”.

General Secretary 2, Shakiroh Yusuf_P.R.O 2, and Muhsinah Ismaeel_Ass. Editor-in-Chief.
Others are Ruqayyah Mikail_Welfare 2, Zaynab Oladipupo_Financial Secretary, AbdulHakeem Abdul Lateef_Ex- Officio 1, Misbaudeen A/Rafiu_Ex-Officio 2, and Misrafah AbdulWakeel_Ex-Officio 3.

In his acceptance speech, Mallam Qaseem AbdulAzeez, represented by the state chief missioner, Mallam AbdulHakeem Abdulkareem, on behalf of the new exco, pledged their total resolve and readiness to take the herculean task, calling on all members across the state to give their support, as no leader succeeds without the unalloyed support of the led.
