The Chief Mufassir of Oyo Land, Sheikh Abdul Lateef Abdul Azeez Eleyele, has extended a heartfelt message of congratulations to Barrister Bilal Oseni Ogunbado on his appointment as the new Chief Imam of Oyo Land, describing the selection as both well-deserved and divinely ordained.
In his official congratulatory message, Sheikh Eleyele commended the newly appointed Chief Imam for his unwavering commitment to Islamic scholarship, humility, and service to the Muslim Ummah, noting that his elevation is a reflection of years of dedication to the propagation of Islam and moral excellence.
“Your appointment brings great joy, as it reflects your deep Islamic knowledge, humility, and commitment to the service of the Ummah. This is truly a moment of honor not just for you, but for the entire Muslim community in Oyo,” Sheikh Eleyele stated.
The Chief Mufassir also paid glowing tribute to His Imperial Majesty, (Dr.) Akeem Abimbola Owoade Elewuetu I, the Alaafin of Oyo, for his continued leadership and steadfast commitment to preserving the religious and cultural heritage of Oyo Kingdom.
“With deep respect, I greet our revered monarch, the Alaafin of Oyo, for his wisdom and fatherly role in upholding the values of our great kingdom,” he added.
Sheikh Eleyele prayed for Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant the new Chief Imam abundant wisdom, spiritual strength, and divine guidance to lead the Ummah with truth, justice, and unity.
“May your leadership usher in peace, spiritual growth, and harmony across Oyo Land and beyond,” he prayed.
Concluding the message, Sheikh Eleyele reaffirmed his support and best wishes to the new Chief Imam, urging the Muslim community to unite behind him in strengthening the spiritual fabric of Oyo.
“Once again, congratulations. May Allah bless your journey and crown your efforts with success,” he said.
