The Niger State Governor, Governor Abubakar Sani Bello has heaped praises on the ADC (Anti Drugs Control) group for their effort towards abating crimes, warning citizens that crimes will not be tolerated in Niger State and anyone caught would be made to face the full wrath of the law.
The Governor sounded this note of warning through his Chief of Staff, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Kagara who received a private security and anti-drug agency, Anti Drugs Control (ADC)at the government house in Minna yesterday on behalf of the chief executive of the state.
The Governor appreciated the collaboration of the outfit with other security agencies towards checking the activities of criminals and hoodlums who took advantage of the peaceful nature of Minna to wreak havoc on harmless constituents particularly during the #EndSARS protest.
Hon. Balarabe expressed utmost commendation to this group on their uncontestable successes achieved especially in the areas of petty theft, phone snatching, and other social vices that have significantly reduced in the state since they came on board to partner with the government.
The Chief of Staff, however, pledged that the Niger state Government will not cease to provide authoritative support after gifting a Sharon car and cash support to this group to hone the discharge of their highly_placed order maintenance duties and encouraged them to keep up the good work.
Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe while delivering the donation on behalf of the government, told the ADC (Anti Drugs Control) group that Governor Sani Bello is keen on protecting the lives and properties of the people of Niger State.
He also charged the private security to operate within the confines and bounds of the law and work in tandem with relevant security agencies put in place by the state.
