President Muhammadu Buhari today October 1 addressed the nation and called for renewed resolution and unfeigned aspirations towards achieving a strong, indivisible nation of our dream.
The president said it is highly important for us as citizens to recognise the fact that Nigeria belongs to all of us; not to a fragment, region or any ethnicity.
He said the prosperous future being laid for Nigeria by our administration can only be sustainable if the citizenry bury their differences and work together towards resolving various challenges confronting the nation.
In his nationwide address marking the 60th anniversary of the country, the president reminded all that Nigerian neither belongs to him nor any Political party, but to all of us, hence the need to strive for her unity, progress and development.
” At this stage in our nationhood, it is important that we reflect on how we got here to enable us work together to get to where we aspire as a strong Indivisible Nation, United in hope and equal opportunity”.
