Following the swearing in of the new SSG, HoS, and 16 Commissioners in Oyo state, former Director General, Oyo state Liaison Office in Abuja and Lagos, Wale Ajani has said that Governor Seyi Makinde has assembled a formidable team for his second term administration tagged Omititun 2.0.
Ajani made this disclosure in a statement made available to journalists on Thursday, July 27.
The former aide to Governor Makinde also commended governor Makinde for his distribution of appointments across the entire 14 federal constituencies in the state.
The former president of National Youths Council of Nigeria disclosed that the new Oyo state executive council refects equitable representation of all the geopolitical zones in the state.
He noted that that this has brought to a perpetual end, all forms of agitations and bickerings in some quarters of being marginalized.
While congratulating the new cabinet members, called for more commitment from the appointees saying “to whom much is given more is expected.”
“There’s no doubt or gainsaying that His Excellency has again shown another special skill in his ability to assemble talents. Looking at the array of professionals in the new state executive council, you must agree with the fact that Governor Seyi Makinde has assembled a formidable team for Omititun 2.0.
“The governor has equally ‘killed many birds with a single stone’ by bringing together some of the best brains around from the entire 14 federal constituencies which represents equal representation of all the geopolitical zones in Oyo state.
“I believe Oyo state is just lucky to have Governor Makinde at the helms of affairs at this material time, and I just want to lay back and continue to learn from the governor’s intellectual prowess and leadership style.
“I want to urge the new cabinet members to rededicate themselves to the service of Oyo state and stay committed to helping the governor actualize the Oyo state sustainable development agender under Omititun 2.0.” Ajani said.
