President Tinubu makes first set of appointments

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday made first set of appointments, appointing Kunle Adeleke as the State Chief Protocol (SCOP) to the President.

Victor Adekunle Adeleke is an accomplished diplomat and lawyer. He joined the Nigerian Foreign Service in 1993 and rose through the ranks, serving in various missions abroad and at the Headquarters, including the State House.

Mr president also appointed Dele Alake as the Presidential Spokesman. Henry Dele Alake, born 6 October 1956, is a Nigerian journalist, activist and technocrat. He is a former commissioner for Information and Strategy in Lagos State between 1999–2007 under the then Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The President also appointed Dada Olusegun, as Special Adviser on Digital Media. Dada Olusegun, an Ex-LAUTECH Students’ Union leader was in contention with Dayo Israel as the APC National Youth Leader in March, 2022.

The 35 year-old graduate of Pure and Applied Chemistry attended Awori Ajeromi Grammar School in Lagos.
