Ramadan: Imam IbnulQayyim Foundation distributes welfare packages, plans to relieve more needy families

Imam IbnulQayyim Islamic Foundation has distributed Ramadan welfare packages amidst mammoth crowd, and also promised to relieve more needy families.

The foundation through her project tagged 1443 RAMADAN WELFARE PACKAGE distributed bags of rice, beans, cartoons of vegetable oil, tomato paste and bags of semovita, etc.

This was done on Monday 4th April, 2022 at new site of Muflihun High School, Ajibola Street, beside Alaafia Bread Bakery, Muslim-Mosfala Road, Ibadan.

Ustãdh Rasheed Haashim, the foundation’s director said, “foodstuff distribution initially aimed at catering for sixty needy families but the foundation was compelled to purchase additional bags of rice when uninvited mammoth crowd trooped in to the venue of distribution.”

The beneficiaries most of whom are widows, aged and the less privileged profoundly appreciated the foundation and the donours.

Theysupplicated to Allah to continue enriching the donours and the management of the foundation.

Ustãdh Haashim however e xplained that the foundation will not relent in her efforts of providing relief materials and welfare packages to Muslims in the blessed month of Ramadan and even beyond.

He appreciated the foundation’s board of trustees, the committee members in charge of 1443 welfare package, monthly donours and all the sponsors of 1443 Ramadan Welfare Package.

The director specially appreciated members of Islamic Discussion WhatsApp Group and Unilomga WhatsApp Forum as they contributed almost all the money spent on the project.

Ustadh Haashim then urged well-to-do people in the world to support the foundation in all its charitable activities by donating generously to the foundation’s Stanbic Account with account number 0011565209 or join the team of monthly donours.

He assured donors of judicious use of their donations as the motto of the foundation still remains: “Caring for the less privileged with fear of Allah.”

He admonished people with an authentic hadith where the noble Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another but that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah but that Allah raises his status.” (Transmitted by Muslim)

In his concluding remarks, he profoundly appreciated all the sponsors of IbnulQayyim Islamic Foundation home and abroad and prayed Almighty Allah in His infinite mercy reward them with Firdaws and provide for them from His Bounties.
