The Director of Academics, Tawheed Nursery and Primary School, Fatuke-Opapa Oyo, Mr. Hameed Tajudeen has appealed to parents to support their children till they realise the dreams they’ve had since childhood.

He made this appeal at this year’s graduation of the Primary five pupils of the school which took place on Sunday, 6th of September 2020 at Ultimate Event Center, Alagbon Oyo.

According to Mr. Hameed, it’s high time parents shunned the pre-conceived thoughts that one profession is deadlier, much strenuous, or dirtier than the other. He said ” as parents, let’s try to lead our kids to accomplish those goals they so dreamt of be it the military, medicine or law”

He said the fellowship cuts across supporting the children financially, spiritually, and praying for them singly regardless of their numbers.

In the same vein, Mallam Jibril Hamzat who delivered a lecture at the occasion scholarly prescribed that children need more attention than that which was given to them when they were just infants now that they are grownups.

“Now that they are now older, they need us than when we just gave birth to them”.

He also placed a high premium on the journey of secondary education that the graduands are preparing to embark on with the view that if the parents sleep with their two eyes closed when nurturing their kids at the stage, the kids may decide to follow the route which could be detrimental to their development.

” Bad peer group influence has inconceivably penetrated the society that we live in today that’s why you see a secondary school student calling himself a marlian”, the educator expressed his frustration.

Mallam Hamzat who observed that parents’ inadequate watch on their wards has been giving birth to damning offspring. He spotted that exposing male children to overbearing wealth is the product of Yahoo Yahoo and their female counterparts have turned prostitution to the norm of the day as we speak.

He, therefore, advocated that parents should monitor both the academic and spiritual life of their kids in full force and report any ill-doing or strange demand that their kids pressed for to people who thoroughly understand the dynamics of the education sector.

Other high points at the events were the presentation of testimonials, choreography, Ewi, group photographs, and so on.
