Alhaji Rilwan, who spoke with NewsLiveNigeria in Ibadan gave this applause on account of the recent bold steps taken by the governor, engineer Seyi Makinde towards repositioning education in the state. He said Mr governor’s steps are in the best interest of the state.

He however said, the official recognition of LEAMSP as a stakeholder in the education sector of the state portends good and development for students at all levels.

He emphasised that LEAMSP will not waver in collaborating with the government at all levels in the provision of quality education to the children living within the state, promising that LEAMSP will continue to maintain cordial relationship with the State Ministry of Education and all other government agencies that are directly or indirectly involved in improving the standard of education.

The chairman also called on all LEAMSP member schools across the state to focus more on quality service as a harbinger of success in the overall development of our students.

Alhaji Rilwan therefore appealed to the state government to extend the hands of fellowship to private school owners in the state by providing palliative to mitigate the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic because they are worst hit.

While appreciating the Oyo state ministry of education for being understanding, he especially thanked all members of Oyo state house of Assembly particularly, the Education committee under Honorable Olufemi Fowokanmi, for their resolve to take education in the state to an enviable height.
