An Ibadan Mogaji, Alhaji Abass Oloko has called for unalloyed support for the governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, saying Mr governor should not be blamed for the incessant haps of insecurity in the state. He added that the issue should not be politised for anything.

Mogaji Oloko established that the insecurity is a national issue which calls for collective and frantic efforts to make the country a haven for all and sundry.

He said that blaming Makinde alone will not achieve any objective.

”I have watched the situation of things in the state since the last few months and I can say that we all need to support the incumbent administration in its bid to rid the state of insecurity. It should not be politicized for anything. We don’t have any other state to call ours. What we should be concerned about is how solve this issue together.

”I recall how Governor Seyi Makinde, since the inception of his administration, has invested in security of this state. I make bold to say that there is none of the security agents that hasn’t been assisted. He holds regular meetings with them. What we think we should do is to also give credible security information as and when due so as to help our security agencies in carrying out their duties effectively and efficiently.

”Also, all of us know those who are security threats in our areas, we should endeavor to alert the security agencies to this. By nipping it in the bud, the more safer it will make our dear state,” he added.

Oloko consequently called on security agencies in the state to be meticulous and diplomatic in handling Auxillary who was fingered in the Iwo road Mayhem sometime last month.

He said Auxilliary has a traceable address like anyone, and that security agencies should not engage in self help saying that may further agravate the security condition of the state.
