History was made in Oyo on Saturday, 20th September 2025, when The Ayo-Sanda Ladigbolu Foundation, popularly known as TASLAF, inaugurated its Board of Trustees. The occasion, held with warmth and elegance, was presided over by the Rector of the Federal School of Surveying, Oyo, Surveyor Dúpẹ́ Lola Olayinka-Dosunmu, PhD, who performed the official inauguration rite.
The inauguration formed part of the Couples and Singles 7.0, TASLAF’s annual flagship event that continues to provide a platform for community gathering, reflection, and celebration of progress.
The establishment of the Board of Trustees marks a significant step in the life of the foundation, bringing together men and women of integrity and experience from different walks of life. Drawn from fields as varied as teaching, civil service, business, engineering, and services, the trustees represent a blend of wisdom and expertise that the foundation hopes to harness in advancing its mission of community development and social impact.
Among those entrusted with this responsibility are respected figures such as Engr. Wale Adelakun, Alhaji Yisa Ayeriyina, Apostle Sunday Jokanola, Mrs. Adeagbo Shakira Adewumi, Engr. John Adetayo Gbadegesin, and Alhaja Adigun Kadijat Alaje. Their inclusion reflects TASLAF’s commitment to building a strong leadership structure rooted in diversity and knowledge.
In her remarks, the Rector praised the vision behind the foundation and urged the new trustees to see their roles not merely as titles but as a call to service. She expressed confidence that their combined wealth of experience would guide TASLAF in fulfilling its noble objectives.
The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude as the leadership of TASLAF extended a heartfelt welcome to the new board members, describing them as fathers and mothers to the foundation.
