The Ta’awunu Human Rights Institute (THURIST) has reinstated her readiness to put human and people’s rights at forefront and topmost in its operation.
THURIST which is a nonprofitable and Non Governmental Organization saddled with the responsiblity of addressing issues of human rights violations in Nigeria as well as redressing it, has commenced in Osun, while extending its limbs to other states in Nigeria.
THURIST Chairman, Barr. Sulaymon A. Tadese had at a briefing in Iwo, Osun State explained that membership of the institute is open to all peace-loving and rights friendly citizens of Nigeria who are of good conducts and impeccable character.
“The Institute is open to all interested persons of impeccably character irrespective of religion, or tribe” he said.
He also said “the Institute has established an open court constituted by reputable scholars to hear matters that can be settle out of court as an alternative Dispute Resolution”.
