A Yoruba King, Oba (Prof.) Saka Matemilola, Olowu of Owu, and his siblings have transformed a family residence into a Mosque and Islamic Centre in the name of their late father.
The building was originally built by their late father as a family residence in which the king and his siblings were raised in the same building.
It was converted into a residential building, a Mosque, and an Islamic center which was named after their late father.
The new Islamic center has been transferred to an Islamic Organization for effective management.
Dr. Saka Adelola Matemilola was crowned the 14th paramount ruler of the Owu Kingdom, a first-class traditional title in Ogun State on Monday 24th October, 2022.
