Oyo central senator-elect Akintunde appeals to Muslims to celebrate Eid in moderation

Oyo central senator-elect, Dr Yunus Abiodun Akintunde has appealed to Muslims to celebrate this year’s Eid al-Fitr in moderation.

Dr Akintunde called for prayers to usher in a greater Oyo Central, Oyo State and Nigeria; for a peaceful transition to better the life of all Nigerians home and abroad.

His words, “Let’s share love and happiness, as we all pray and work towards a greater Oyo Central, Oyo State and Nigeria for a peaceful transition to better the life of all Nigerians home and abroad.

Nigeria needs all of us irrespective of tribe, race, religion or political affiliations.

I pray Allah guides our leaders and citizens right; bless us with wisdom, mercy and direction for a greater and Prosperous Nigeria for you and us.

A Nation devoid of war, banditry and kidnapping, hunger and poverty is all we pray for and we have to work towards”.
