Al-muminaat, The Believing Women Organization Oyo State, has extended heartfelt greetings to all Muslim women on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, 1445A.H.
“In a year marked by economic hardships, the steadfastness and devotion displayed by Muslim women in observing the fast despite challenges are commendable. We attribute this resilience to our fear of Allah and our unwavering commitment to our faith.
As we celebrate Eidul Fitr, we urge all Muslim women to remain vigilant in safeguarding the virtues and deeds acquired during Ramadan. Let us not falter in our good deeds, nor neglect our prayers for the betterment of Nigeria and Oyo State.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all Muslim women for their selfless sacrifices in preparing iftar and sahur for their families. Your dedication exemplifies the spirit of Ramadan.
To alleviate the economic burdens faced by Muslim women during this blessed month, Al-muminaat Oyo State, in collaboration with Mumineen Relief Inc., has launched a Ramadan Relief Package totaling one million naira. This initiative aims to bring joy and ease to Muslim women across the local governments of Oyo State.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Her Excellency Engr. Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, the wife of the Governor, for her generous donation of food items and beverages to indigent and widows. Your support is invaluable in uplifting the community.
Furthermore, Al-muminaat Oyo State underscores the importance of continued support for the welfare of the less fortunate beyond the confines of Ramadan. As we celebrate the blessings of this sacred month, let us remember that the spirit of giving and compassion knows no bounds of time or season. It is incumbent upon all Muslims, particularly those who are well-off, to remain steadfast in their commitment to uplifting the marginalized and promoting social justice.
In conclusion, we urge affluent members of the Muslim community to continue their support for the welfare of the less privileged, not only during Ramadan but also throughout the year.”
