Balogun Mumini of Yorubaland Rasheed Adesokan is dead

The Balogun Mumini of Yorubaland, Alhaji Rasheed Adesokan, is dead.

According to the Chairman of the Muslim Community of Oyo State (MUSCOYS), Kunle Sanni, Adesokan died on Saturday at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan.

A statement by the Chairman, UCH Muslim Community, Dr. Abbas Abdus-salam, read that “plans are afoot for his Janazah at the UCH Central Mosque tomorrow morning (Sunday, March 26, 2023, Ramadan 4, 1444AH) insah Allah. Exact time will be communicated”.

Rasheed Adesokan was, until his death, the Baale of Bodija.
