Contemptuous Caricatures of Prophet Muhammad: Macron should apologise to all Muslims ___ PHF

The entire world, especially the more than one billion Muslims, have been traumatized by the recent terrorist attacks in France, championed and legalized by the France President, Emmanuel Macron.

It is logical to say that where the freedom of speech and action of the entire French people end, is where our rights as Muslims begin. We, as Muslims, also have the freedom to demand that our religious rights should not be trampled upon. It is our right and our duty to ask that the inviolable rights of the best of mankind, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) be preserved.

Michael Hart in his famous, scientific analysis and ranking of men of history, rated Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the best of all men to have lived in this world. This fact was established by Hart, citing all available evidence and using adequate proof, well before the French President was born.

How can a president dare to insult the one whom his Creator sent, to guide the entirety of mankind? It is a clear sign of sheer ignorance to insult and denigrate a personality that more than one billion people hold in high esteem, a person who the Almighty holds in high regard and commands His angels to respect. This is our red-line!

The Pure Heart Islamic Foundation of Nigeria, admonishes Muslims across the world to be law-abiding in reacting to this barbaric act, an action through which the France President legalizes the terrorism against Muslims. We, as Muslims, must stand together to protest this menace, through economic, social and spiritual means.

We equally enjoin all Muslim governments to withdraw their Ambassadors from France, for a period of time, in addition to a total boycott of all French products, by Muslims until this evil is corrected.

We demand that the French Government apologizes to the entire Muslim world, withdraw the caricature and punish the perpetrator for violating the rights of Muslims, and for overstretching the concept of freedom to include the right to hurt others.

The earlier the president does this, the better, as Allah is Oft-forgiving and Merciful and He has enjoined us as Muslims to be the same.

To conclude, the French government should review and redefine the concept of freedom of speech in France, by setting a limit, to ensure that others’ beliefs, values and religious symbols are not trampled upon, under the guise of free speech /action.
