EACOED Provost, Dr. Rasak Adefabi felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Maulid

The Provost, Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo, Dr. Rasak A. Adefabi, fien, fcai, J.P has sent congratulatory message out to Islamic faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Id-el Maulud holding today, Thursday, 29 October, 2020.

In a release made available by the Special Assistant to the Provost on Media Matters, Wale Adeoye, quoting the College Helmsman, “My dear Muslim Ummah, I congratulate you all on this occasion of the birth of Prophet Mohammed (SAW), today, Thursday, 29 October, 2020. It is a known fact that the Holy Prophet lived a life of love, peace and humility. As we celebrate his birth, I urge us all to emulate the virtues of the Holy Prophet by eschewing violence and promote love, peace and humility, which Islam symbolizes”.

“This is a challenging time in the history of our dear country, particularly in the area of security. It therefore calls for more love, perseverance and understanding from individuals. I therefore appeal to every member of the College Community to embrace peace which the symbolic birth preaches”, the release added.
