FILSU confers Awards of Excellence on Ameer Taawun, Wazeer of Yorubaland

The Federation of Iwoland Students Union, FILSU has yesterday conferred awards of Excellence on well deserved indigenes for their meritorious contribution to the advancement and development of Iwoland.

The conferment of Awards of Excellence which was held at the FILSU Secretariat, new Garage, Adeeke, Osun State, in which the Ameer Taawun, Daood Imran Molaasan and the Wazeer of Yorubaland, Shiekh Yakub A. B Muhammad were awarded also witnessed the swearing in and inauguration of elected Executives of FILSU.

Expressing his confidence in the awardees, the FILSU outgoing President, Akinkunmi Iromini explained that the awardees are famous for their reputable characters, good gesture and commitment to human capital development.

“The awards were presented to the awardees for their meritorious service and contributions to the development of Iwoland”, he said.

He added that “the union wishes to acknowledge the support of the awardees to the successes of the Union over the years as we look forward to a stronger and robust partnership with them”.
