Hatbuk Media Production, the custodian of News Live Nigeria commenced her first media workshop today.
The maiden edition of the workshop billed to take place between the 4th and 5th of September 2021 was aimed at alerting religious (Muslim) organisations on the effectiveness of and the interconnection between the media and the propagation of their faith.
Opening the two-day media retreat, the chairman of the occasion, Engineer (Alhaji) Ahmad Arowosaye observed that it was high time Muslim organisations started to reckon with the media and publicity like the people from the other side of the divide.
“If we publicise what we do as Muslims in our locality, it will glow our everlasting religion and stage our efforts towards upholding the deen on a global front”, the chairman said.
The chairman further expressed that such initiative as the one put together by Hatbuk Media Production was a milestone that needed to be supported by all Muslim ummah and he would not desist from supporting the move.
Present at the occasion were Al-Mu’minaat (The Believing Women Organisation), Oyo Zone, The Muslim Congress, TMC, Anwarul Islam Mission, Oyo, Ansaruddeen Society of Nigeria, Oyo Zone, Fadilatus Sheu Tijaniyyat Movement of Nigeria, FASHTMON, Oyo Alaafin main branch, among others.
Mr. M. A Afolabi, the proprietor of Fawz Model Schools was the guest speaker at the first session, opening session and he extensively groomed the audience on ” the advantage of media”.
Other speakers at the event include Alhaji Sahid Adejare, Ustaz Computer, Akede Agbaye while Dr. Adekunle Mikail and other distinguished members of the public also graced the occasion.
The second and all-important session began at about 1:35 PM with resource persons of repute taking the audience through the rudiments of the media.
The national anthem was also played to formalise the event as it continues at the same venue by 11:00 PM tomorrow.
