The Chief Imam of Eyiwolu Central Mosque, Ladigbolu Area of Oyo town, Imam Akinade has advised the generality of the Muslim Ummah to not only protect themselves but also their kindred from the wrath of hell.
The Islamic Cleric gave this admonition in his sermon for the 2-rakat Jummah prayer on Friday stressing that the punishment of hell is more distasteful than to be risked likewise the prosperity that comes with Aljannah Firdaus is much pleasing to be missed judging by the uncontestable shreds of evidence supplied by the Qur’an and hadith.
“To avoid the missing out of our people from the pleasurable experience of Aljannah, our dear parents need to walk the younger generation through the prerequisites knowledge of Islamic doctrines. They will learn how to treat us well when they know how to treat God well too”, he confidently pointed out.
He also scholarly enunciated that Muslims should try to raise godly intellectuals to ward them off hell and the energetic angels in its custody.
” Brethren who are morally upright, physically and psychologically strong, wise, sound_minded and whose adorable skillsets conform with societal, organizational, communal and general norms are the crop of families we need to breed if we truly want to protect ourselves and our people from the punishment of Jahannam”, he articulated.
Speaking about governance and leadership, Imam Akinade said that it is very fundamental for both the rulers and the ruled to have the fear of God metamorphosing sporadically in their veins.
