“I’m a friend of developments”, Oluwo eulogises promoter of international stadium, drums support for the project.

As everything is set to host the Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, today, for the flag off of Lanre Adeleke Sports Academy, Golf Course and Resort in Ileogbo; Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi has expressed his happiness for the developments coming to the land.

While acknowledging and drumming his support for the project, he said there was never a time he stood against development, noting that every of his action are tailored towards the growth of his constituency.

Oba Akanbi said the encouragement of illustrious sons and daughters of Iwoland is a prime of his office to attract needed growth, calling on stakeholders to always embrace sense of togetherness.

He congratulated sons and daughters of the land, most especially the elders, for witnessing such a gigantic project at their old age.

Oba Akanbi said the saga surrounding the land is an in-house issue that will be settled amicably.

He pledged his full support for the actualization of the dream as he prayed for the promoter, Engr. Abel Adeleke, on divined guidance, prosperity and understanding.

He further encouraged other prosperous sons and daughters of the land to emulate the good heart of Engr. Adeleke by mapping out strategies to put their domain on international map.

A statement by Oluwo through his press secretary, Alli Ibraheem, reads “The situation of Lanre Adeleke Sports Academy, Golf Course and Resort in Ileogbo is a good tiding for the land. The recent happenings within Iwoland consituency are things of joy and a challenge for every responsible royal father to be more active. Our activeness is an encouragement to the illustrious, aspiring sons and daughters to bring more developments to the land. I’m a friend of developments. I’ve full support for the project and so happy it is happening at a time I’m on the throne”.

“As I specially welcome Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun to the flag off, I equally congratulate all the monarchs in the land; it is our glory. I extend the same congratulations to the elders, Asiwaju of Iwoland, Barr. Gbadegesin Adedeji, Asiwaju of Ileogbo, IBOT chairman, Dr. Oluremi Atanda, Chief R.A Nafiu, Prof. Pade Aderibigbe, Prof. Lai Olurode, Alhaji Liad Tella and many others too numerous to mention. Socio elites clubs such as IBOT, IUF, IWAC, KUF, ODA, IDC, IDF etc are acknowledged and appreciated for bringing out part of the best for the land”

“I colourfully congratulate and pray for the promoter of the project, Engr. Abel Adeleke, you shall continue to be great and supplicate to have more of you in the land”

“I appeal to all and sundry to embrace peace and understanding in the interest of development. We should sacrifice our ego in order to move. Every issue surrounding the land will be settled in house. Together to greater heights”
