Jaiz bank unveils new corporate identity, reaffirms commitment to ethical banking

Jaiz Bank Plc, Nigeria’s pioneer non-interest (Islamic) bank, has unveiled its new corporate identity, marking a major milestone in its nearly fourteen-year journey of redefining ethical banking in the country.

Speaking at the official unveiling in Abuja on Tuesday, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Jaiz Bank, Dr. Haruna Musa, described the rebrand as a “bold statement of intent” that goes beyond a cosmetic change to reflect the bank’s renewed commitment to inclusivity, transparency, and customer-focused services.

“Today is more than just a celebration of a new look; it is a defining milestone in our journey. While our outward expression is evolving, our foundation remains unchanged: the values and Shariah-compliant principles that have always defined us,” Musa said.

The new identity features a refreshed logo, payoff line, and vibrant colour palette—Deep Blue for trust and stability, Yellow for optimism and innovation, and Grey for balance and sophistication. The new payoff line, “With You for Life,” underscores the bank’s pledge to support customers at every stage of their financial journey.

Jaiz Bank has in recent years gained international recognition for its ethical and innovative banking practices. Notable awards include the Quality Choice Prize 2025 for ethics and quality management, Most Promising Islamic Bank 2024 (Global Islamic Finance Awards), Best Islamic Bank in West Africa (International Investor Magazine), and a ranking as the 12th Strongest Islamic Bank globally by The Asian Banker.

Musa noted that these accolades affirm the trust customers and stakeholders have placed in Jaiz Bank, adding that the new corporate identity is a step towards consolidating its leadership in non-interest banking across Africa.

“As we step into this new era, we remain steadfast in our mission: to redefine ethical banking in Africa and beyond,” he said.

Jaiz Bank, established in 2011 as Nigeria’s first non-interest financial institution, continues to position itself as a key player in offering ethical, Shariah-compliant financial solutions tailored to individuals, businesses, and communities.
