Nigeria Navy and Civilian JTF raid Baga

The Special Boat Service personnel of the Naval Base Lake Chad (NBLC) alongside personnel of the 403 Special Force Amphibious Brigade and Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) conducted a clearance and recovery operation at Baga.

Commander of the NBLC, Commodore Alexander Bingel led the operation.

The operation, which lasted for 4 days covered the Federal College of Freshwater Fisheries Technology (FCFFT), Doro Baga, Tango guava, Kwatan Gaba, and Kwatan kuyet, was successfully executed and resulted in the recovery of a box of 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher (AGL) balls.

Speaking about the breakthrough,the Commander NBLC, Commodore Bingel praised the combat for their vigour and resilience.

He also commended the troops for their discipline, courage, doggedness as they cooperate effectively for the success of the operation.

According to the troops, they are hell-bent on pushing further to ensure that no elements of ISWAP terrorists were left within the area.
