Osun PDP congratulates governor Adeleke’s first appointees

The Ruling Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State has congratulated the trio of Hon Teslim Igbalaye, Alhaji kazeem Akinleye and Malam Olawale Rasheed on their appointments by the State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.

Hon Teslim Igbalaye was announced by Governor Ademola Adeleke on Sunday, as Secretary to the State Government, SSG, while Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye was made the Chief of Staff to the Governor, with Mallam Olawale Rasheed equally appointed as spokesperson to the State Governor.

In a congratulatory message signed by the PDP State Caretaker Committee Chairman, Dr Akindele Adekunle on Sunday, the PDP described the new appointees as worthy sons of Osun State, whose capacities to serve the state have been demonstrated over time,with their commitment to the cause of the state, even as private citizens.

The PDP chairman also described the prompt appointments by the state Governor as clear message of preparedness for the task of governance, for which Governor Ademola Adeleke took oath of office earlier on Sunday

“Our great party really wish to congratulate the good people of Osun State for surviving the past turbulence till this time of having a prepared mind at the saddle of affairs of the state”

With the caliber of the appointments approved by the governor, just a couple of hours after he took oath of office, the people of the state can be rest assured of diligence on duty without any space for unnecessary dilly dally, Dr Akindele said.

The statement also enjoined stakeholders in the affairs of Osun State to join forces with Governor Ademola Adeleke and his team to paddle the state out of the woods in accordance with the electioneering promises.

Dr Akindele however urged the newly appointed functionaries not to see their appointments as mere reward for hard work but rather, as a challenge of greater commitment to service.
