Alhaji Sanni, represented by a popular Comparative religious preacher, Dr Dawood Amoo-Alaga stressed that it was important for Muslims to be firm in their faith and resist either inducements or temptation to abandon their monotheism for mundane benefits.

He maintained that trials from Allah are to test true faith, noting that the abode of all strong and upright Islamic faithful is paradise.

The Chairman Oyo State Muslim Community noted that the prayer was to align with other Muslims across Nigeria who had performed same for Alhaja Oyedepo.

The NACOMYO Ibadan leader, Alhaji Sulaiman Abanise while narrating the history of the late Alhaja Oyedepo, pointed out that the deceased was an epitome of a virtuous Muslim woman.

Alhaji Abanise reiterated that Allah has chosen late Alhaja Oyedepo as one of the dwellers of paradise in the hereafter given the fact that her last statement was the testimony that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that the noble Prophet Muhammad is Allah’s messenger.
In a remark, Oyo State Coordinator of NACOMYO, Alhaji Dawood Afolabi said the history of late Alhaja Oyedepo signified that Islam is the true and acceptable religion before Allah, urging Muslims to be more dedicated to their creator for eternal salvation.

Alhaja Aasiyah who was claimed to be the only Muslim in the Omu-Aran family of Bishop Oyedepo died at an undisclosed hospital in Ibadan on Saturday.
