Days of Palestine – Jordan Valley
The Israeli occupation authorities today, Wednesday, notified six families from Khirbet Ibziq in the northern Jordan Valley to evacuate their homes again, to conduct military exercises at the end of this month.
Human Rights activist Aref Daraghmeh said that the Israeli occupation forces notified the same families who were forcibly evicted from their homes several times over the past two weeks to conduct military training, and they were forced to sleep in the open with their children under the difficult weather conditions.
He explained that the new notification stipulates that residents will be vacated from their homes on December 27, from eight in the morning until three in the morning of the following day, December 28.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation forces carry out military exercises several times a year in many areas of the northern Jordan Valley, during which the citizens evacuated from their homes, as they are exposed to great dangers after the end of the training period due to the remnants of ammunition left by the occupation army in their areas.
