The governor of Kwara state, Mallam Abdulrasaq Abdulramon has approved the early payment of July Salaries to workers to celebrate the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir festivity.
This was made known in a post via Kwara state Government’s Official Facebook page, on Friday. The Post reads, “Sallah: Governor Abdulrasaq AbdulRahman has approved the early payment of July Salaries to workers to celebrate the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir festivity, with joy and happiness. The payment of Salary has since commenced”, the post added.
Some of the state’s Civil servants who spoke to News Live Nigeria correspondent on the condition of anonymity, also testified to this development.
“It surprised me when I received my July Salary at 2pm today. It will make this Eid El Kabir festivity a nice one for me and my family”, a civil servant added.
Governor Abdulrasaq AbdulRahman of Kwara state has always paid workers ‘ salaries on 25th of every month.
