Akesan Market: 196 traders make first batch of allottees (SEE LIST)

The list of the allotees who made the first batch at the new Akesan market has been released. The list comprises 146 lock-up shops and 50 open stalls owners.

This leaves the remaining lock-up shops and open shops at 382 and 113 respectively.

The newly constructed ultramodern market which the governor of Oyo state said would boost the economy of the state comprises 528 lock-up shops and 163 open shops, among other enviable facilities.

On Friday June 4, 2021, governor Seyi Makinde at the commissioning of the market promised that “everyone who had a shop in this market will get their allocations first before other shops are let out by the developers”.
